The hip-hop-dominant Summer Smash festival will broaden its musical footprint this summer with its first electronic headliner in Skrillex, who joins Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti at the top of the bill for the June 12-14 event at SeatGeek Stadium in the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview.
Organized by Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX, Summer Smash will also welcome Chief Keef, Baby Keem, a collaborative performance from Yung Lean and Bladee, Lil Baby, Lucki, BigXthaPlug, Sexyy Red, Esdeekid, G Herbo, 2hollis, Xaviersobased, Sexyy Red, Fetty Wap and Nine Vicious.
More from Spin:
In another exclusive, North West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashain, will play her debut live festival set on opening day just hours before her 13th birthday.
Skrillex hasn’t performed in Chicago since Lollapalooza 2024 and Summer Smash will be one of only three remaining North American gigs on his 2026 calendar. The artist will also co-headline Bonnaroo outside Nashville in June and the one-off HEAD TRIP on Oct. 10-11 at the Coachella site in Indio, Ca.
Last year, Summer Smash drew more than 100,000 fans for an event highlighted by Young Thug’s first show after spending more than two years in jail while awaiting trial on racketeering charges. The fest also boasted the debut collaborative set between Yeat and Don Toliver, as well as performances by Future, Chance the Rapper, Lil Yachty, Quavo and Ski Mask the Slump God.
