Tom Morello Talks New LP, D.C. Festival On ‘Lipps Service’

Rage Against the Machine guitarist, solo artist and activist Tom Morello is the guest on the latest installment of the SPIN Presents Lipps Service podcast, speaking with host Scott Lipps about everything from his earliest musical influences to his latter-day work with Audioslave and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

Morello also discusses how Maynard James Keenan and Tool provided crucial early support for Rage Against the Machine, serving as musical director for the 2025 farewell Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne concert, his upcoming album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want, his star-studded Power to the People festival on Oct. 3 outside of Washington, D.C., and making music with his teenage son, Roman.
