Kings Of Leon Are ‘Whole’ On New LP

Kings of Leon will cross the 10 studio albums threshold with O My Beloved, which will arrive Nov. 6 on the band’s Love Tap Records with distribution by Virgin Music. The lead track, “My Whole World,” is out now in tandem with a video featuring the quartet performing together in the same room.

“We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special. I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here,” says lead singer Caleb Followill. “In the songs, there’s our families, stories from our childhood [and] things that maybe didn’t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realize how impactful they really were in my life.”

Kings of Leon is expected to debut new music tonight (Sept. 10) during a pop-up show at the 575-capacity Basement East in Nashville. The band has spent the summer on tour in Europe, having most recently played July 10 at the Mad Cool festival in Madrid.

O My Beloved is the follow-up to 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun, KOL’s lone release for Capitol after spending their entire career with RCA. The set debuted at a career-low No. 35 on the Billboard 200 but opened at No. 2 in the U.K.
