Jenny Lewis’ Nice As Fuck Reuniting For Shows

Jenny Lewis is getting the band back together again — and this time, she’s bringing Nice As Fuck back into the room. A decade after the trio of Lewis, Erika Spring and Tennessee Thomas released their lone, self-titled album, Nice As Fuck is reuniting for a limited 10th anniversary tour and reissuing its long-out-of-print debut.

The 2016 album was a wonderfully scrappy collision of three musicians embracing spontaneity, revolution and the simple pleasure of making noise together. Now, in what feels like an era tailor-made for its “The solution is revolution / Kill ’em with love” ethos, Nice As Fuck is returning for eight dates beginning Oct. 16 at Los Angeles’ Sid the Cat, with DJ Alix Brown joining the tour. The run will hit the West Coast before heading east, wrapping Oct. 29 at Brooklyn’s Xanadu Roller Arts.

Nice As Fuck’s self-titled, nine-song LP is coming back to life to coincide with the tour and will be available at the shows as well as online.

The reunion also adds another chapter to Lewis’ recent willingness to revisit her past. As previously reported, her band Rilo Kiley returned to the road in 2025 for the first time in 17 years and released its first greatest-hits collection, That’s How We Choose To Remember It. The band’s final scheduled shows are Sept. 26 with Beachwood Sparks at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever and the following day at the Ohana festival in Dana Point, Ca.
