Oprah Gathers Jacob Collier, Max Richter For Sphere Shows

Oprah Winfrey is taking the “A-ha” moment to a whole new level. The media icon will appear live onstage at Las Vegas’ Sphere next spring for Oprah Winfrey’s AHA, a two-hour immersive experience bringing together musicians, poets, visual artists and storytellers for three performances April 2-4, 2027.

Conceived after Winfrey attended the opening night of U2’s Sphere run, AHA is designed as a “symphony of senses,” using the venue’s wraparound LED screen and advanced Sphere Immersive Sound system to create a journey through light, sound, music, nature, storytelling and shared humanity.

“I sat in awe at the opening night of U2 at the Sphere, mesmerized by the possibilities of how the space could be used as a tool for creating greater awareness and understanding of ourselves and our connection to each other,” Winfrey said. “Creating this experience has felt like the culmination of what I’ve spoken about and worked towards my entire life.”

The eclectic creative collective includes seven-time Grammy winner Jacob Collier, poet and author Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet and gospel singer Wintley Phipps, with additional performances and contributions from Oscar-nominated composer Max Richter, Grammy-winning musician and vocal director Jason White and electronic artist Jon Hopkins.

The production’s storytelling and visual language will be shaped by Oscar-winning screenwriter Tarell Alvin McCraney, artist Es Devlin and the Plum Village Monks, among others. Director Ethan Tobman and producer Baz Halpin lead the producing team, while executive producers include Winfrey, Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, Tara McNally Montgomery, Ben Winston, Andrew Maxwell Mangino and Evan Sharp.

Presented by Live Nation, AHA will mark a rare convergence of Oprah’s live presence with a large-scale multimedia production built specifically around Sphere’s technological capabilities.
