Pusha T, Pharrell Are Now Coffee Entrepreneurs

Pusha T and Pharrell Williams are putting a little more “grind” in the morning grind. The longtime collaborators have launched Grindin Coffee, a new brand powered by Italian coffee giant Lavazza and aimed squarely at early risers, late-night workers and anyone whose creative process begins before the sun has clocked in.

Available exclusively at GrindinCoffee.com and named after Pusha T and Malice’s classic 2002 Williams-produced Clipse song, the brand’s debut lineup includes dark- and medium-roast blends in ground and whole-bean formats. The dark roast features cocoa, caramel and brown-spice notes, while the medium roast leans toward bittersweet chocolate, caramel and roasted hazelnut. Both are suitable for filter, espresso and cold brew — because the hustle now comes with options.

The idea grew out of the pair’s long-running work habits in the studio, gym and on the road. Pusha says he and Pharrell developed a 5 a.m. routine built around black coffee or the strongest espresso available, followed by recording sessions and 25-mile bike rides. “From making ‘Grindin’’ back in 2002 to now, it has always been about intention and focus,” Pharrell said. “Coffee has always been part of that discipline. It has been in the room with us when we create. Now it has a name.”

That name arrives as the collaborators’ creative résumé continues to expand with Clipse’s acclaimed 2025 comeback, Let God Sort Em Out. “Our customer is someone who builds things,” Pusha said. “The kind of person who wakes up and gets to work, who works out every day, who builds a strong community around them.”

Lavazza, founded in Turin in 1895, supplies the coffee expertise and international infrastructure. Grindin, meanwhile, supplies the branding thesis: “It’s the first move before you build something.”
