Oasis Plots New Course For Knebworth Return

Oasis’ long-awaited return to Knebworth in 2027 is getting a transportation and hospitality overhaul intended to make the band’s massive shows there as smooth as possible.

The 38-date trek will conclude with Sept. 11-12 and 18-19 stops at the iconic Hertfordshire, U.K., site, which Oasis first visited with great fanfare in 1996. Promoters are now urging fans not to drive to the concerts, instead offering a series of dedicated travel and on-site options intended to reduce congestion and improve access.

Great British Rail will operate direct post-show trains from Stevenage to London King’s Cross, running approximately every 30 minutes from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Tickets will be capped at £10 for concertgoers, with a stewarded, illuminated pedestrian route connecting the site to Stevenage Station.

The event will also feature return coach services from more than 120 locations across the U.K. Ticketed through Ticketmaster, the network is expected to represent the largest coach movement for a single cultural event in the country. Fans will have one hour after the concert to board their return coach, with food outlets, bars and restrooms remaining open during that window.

For those attending either Saturday show, a purpose-built Campsite Village will offer an alternative to concert-day travel. Priced at £60 per person, the option includes Friday arrival, campsite parking, a pitch and direct access to the arena, along with late-night entertainment on Friday and Saturday.

Oasis is also adding new premium and accessible facilities to the Knebworth experience. Three grandstands at the rear of the field will offer reserved seating and access to hospitality in the Knebworth House Gardens, while a large accessible viewing platform will provide a front-facing stage view via ramps.

“Oasis have challenged us to make Oasis Live ’27 at Knebworth the best possible fan experience. This is our goal,” said Rob Ballantine of promoter SJM. “To help create the best possible experience, we are encouraging fans not to come by car, but to take advantage of the new options we have created.”

When Liam and Noel Gallagher announced their reunion in August 2024 after a 15-year hiatus, more than 10 million fans from 158 countries reportedly queued for tickets.
