103.5 The X Brownwood Rocks!

Carly Rae Jepsen is taking Day and Night to some very big rooms. The artist has unveiled plans for a 2027 North American tour, and it marks a notable new scale for the “Call Me Maybe” hitmaker, including her first-ever headlining dates at Madison Square Garden, Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Red Rocks outside Denver.
Dubbed the Day and Night tour, the 26-city run launches April 15 at Edmonton’s Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and rolls through North America before wrapping May 29 at Montreal’s MTELUS. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 8.
More from Spin:
Jepsen’s only prior appearance at Madison Square Garden was in November 2012 while opening for Justin Bieber, just a few months after “Call Me Maybe” became a worldwide phenomenon. During her last major tour in 2023, she headlined in the Big Apple at the 3,500-capacity the Rooftop at Pier 17. On Sept. 27, she played a short-notice show at New York club Irving Plaza after her planned set the All Things Go festival was scrapped due to heavy storms.
That night, Jepsen debuted seven songs from Day and Night, including the heavily streamed “After All,” “On Wires” and “Don’t Leave Me on the Dance Floor.” The 24-track double album debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200 and was conceived around two distinct sonic worlds: Day drawing on organic, psychedelic pop influences and Night leaning into sleek, synth-heavy dance pop.
Meanwhile, the countdown to Broadway is on for Jepsen and Lena Dunham’s musical reimagining of 10 Things I Hate About You. The stage adaptation of the beloved 1999 teen movie will begin performances Aug. 17, 2027, and finds Jepsen collaborating with Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Ethan Gruska on the musical’s score. Dunham is writing the book with playwright Jessica Huang, and the production is being directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Wheeldon.
