103.5 The X Brownwood Rocks!

My Morning Jacket will post up at the Fillmore in San Francisco for a seven-night run in October, which will constitute the Jim James-led band’s only non-festival headlining shows of 2026. They’ll take place Oct. 3-4, 6-7 and 9-11, with each “individually inspired by the colors of the rainbow” (fans are encouraged to dress accordingly).
MMJ is also promising no repeat songs within each separate block of shows. Click here for tickets, which will go on sale April 3 to the general public if any remain following fan club, local and Spotify pre-sales beforehand.
More from Spin:
“The Fillmore. Anyone who knows us knows what a sacred place this is to the band and to music in general,” says frontman Jim James. “All of the history. All of the legends. All of the peace, love and mind-blowing music created by so many artists within those hallowed walls over so many years. We are so honored to be even a small part of its wondrous history and are so thrilled to be coming back again – FOR 7 NIGHTS!!! We look forward to laughing, dancing and singing together while celebrating every color of the rainbow and all of the beauty, diversity and magic in this wild, wonderful world!”
The rest of the band’s itinerary this year kicks off April 18 at the High Water festival in Charleston, S.C., and also includes visits to Goose’s Viva El Gonzo in Mexico (May 7-9), Denver’s Outside Days (May 30) and Ocean City, Md.’s Ocean Calling (Sept. 27).
While work continues on its next proper studio album, MMJ in late January unveiled a collection of 14 acoustic recordings on Bandcamp dubbed Peacelands, proceeds from which benefit the American Civil Liberties Union, Doctors Without Borders and the International Rescue Committee. The project was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Shawn Everett and includes a blend of originals (“I’m Amazed,” “State of the Art”) and covers (Brian Wilson’s “Love and Mercy,” Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ in the Wind”).
