Mass Appeal will release new albums from hip-hop legends Nas & DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Raekwon, Big L, De La Soul and “a surprise guest of honor” this year under the moniker Legend Has It…

Nas, who co-founded Mass Appeal, will team again with DJ Premier to augment the pair’s prior collaborations on 1994’s iconic Illmatic. Ghostface Killah will bring forth the sequel to 2000’s beloved Supreme Clientele, while Raekwon’s album is titled Emperor’s New Clothes.

More from Spin:

For Mobb Deep and De La Soul, the projects will be their first new albums since core members Prodigy and Trugoy the Dove passed away. Big L’s release will also be posthumous; the rapper died in 1999 at the age of 25. Sign up here for additional details, which have yet to be revealed.

Per Mass Appeal, the series is meant to celebrate and spotlight “some of the most important and influential hip-hop artists of all time — trailblazers who’ve been instrumental in building and shaping the music and culture, and have taken it from the streets of New York to the wider world, leaving an indelible mark on music.”
