Music from the Best Original Song-nominated films KPop Demon Hunters and Sinners will be showcased via performances during the 98th Academy Awards, which will be hosted by Conan O’Brien and air live on ABC on Sunday (March 15).

HUNTR/X singers Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami will reprise the inescapable “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters as part of performance beginning with a “fusion of traditional Korean instrumentalists and dance, celebrating the folklore and cultural inspiration” for the hit Netflix animated movie.

Meanwhile, Sinners star Miles Caton will join songwriter Raphael Saadiq to perform the movie’s “I Lied to You” in tandem with ballet star Misty Copeland, Shaboozey, Alabama Shakes vocalist Brittany Howard, Chicago blues legends Bobby Rush and Buddy Guy, Eric Gales, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and Alice Smith.

“This year, our music performances are inspired by two of the most powerful cultural phenomena in film: Sinners, the most nominated film in Oscars history, and KPop Demon Hunters, a global pop culture sensation,” executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan say. “These show moments are more than just performances — they expand into cinematic tributes that celebrate the relationship between music and storytelling and why these films resonated so deeply with audiences around the world.”

Previously announced performers include Josh Groban and the Los Angeles Master Chorale, with further announcements expected before the weekend.
