Phish’s annual Riviera Maya destination event has always been about more than the band, but the newly announced after-hours lineup for its 10th anniversary edition may be the festival’s most eclectic yet.

Organizers have revealed that LCD Soundsystem frontman and DFA Records co-founder James Murphy and Roots drummer, filmmaker and DJ extraordinaire Questlove will handle late-night DJ duties at Phish: Riviera Maya, which returns Jan. 27-30, 2027, to Mexico’s Moon Palace Cancún. Additional DJs will be announced in the coming months.

The event is also bringing back its comedy series, Here Come the Jokers, for a second year, with Saturday Night Live/Portlandia alum Fred Armisen leading a lineup that includes Rory Scovel, Beth Stelling, Ali Macofsky and returning favorite Phil Hanley. Scovel is a notable Phish fan who previously performed at the band’s 2024 Modegreen festival in Delaware and has also collaborated onstage with Phish bassist Mike Gordon.

The announcement arrives as Phish gears up for a busy 2026 summer, including five nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden and a pair of shows at Boston’s Fenway Park. Guitarist Trey Anastasio is presently winding down a spring solo run, which will visit Grand Rapids, Mi., tonight (June 17) and Toronto on Friday.
