Together with former Mighty Mighty Bosstones lead singer Dicky Barrett, California-based collective sullvn has released a new song and accompanying video, “Raise a Glass,” via Big Noise Music Group. Written by Barrett and Robert “Sully” Sullivan of sullvn, the song was produced by Goldfinger’s John “Feldy” Feldmann.

Originally a retro-soul roots band, the group has transformed into a blend of ska, pop-punk and old-school soul, sparked by their high-energy cover of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ ‘90s ska anthem, “The Impression That I Get.” Crowds not only loved it, but so did Barrett, who soon befriended Sullivan.
