The Lemon Twigs (siblings Brian and Michael D’Addario) are the guests on the latest installment of the Lipps Service podcast, speaking with host Scott Lipps about their upcoming May 8 album Look For Your Mind! (Captured Tracks) and touring plans for 2026.

The pair also discuss growing up on the Beatles and the Beach Boys, singing harmony with their parents and connecting with Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado, who became a close collaborator. They get into receiving plaudits from Elton John, recording with Thundercat and Todd Rundgren, the merits of analog vs. digital recording, being born in the “wrong” era and the realities of surviving as an indie band in today’s music world.

More from Spin:

The conversation winds down with the eternal John vs. Paul-centric Beatles debate, a look at artists the brothers think deserve more love and their top five songs they wish they wrote.

On the previous episode of Lipps Service, former Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm detailed his first solo album since 1989, Released, working with producer Mutt Lange, the power of ballads and the current state of Foreigner, which now tours without any original members.

Since it began in 2018, the acclaimed podcast has featured many of the biggest voices and personalities in music, including exclusive interviews with Anthony Kiedis, David Lee Roth, Hozier, Maynard James Keenan, the Police’s Stewart Copeland, Mick Fleetwood, Nikki Sixx, Dove Cameron, Perry Farrell, the Kills and many more. Every few weeks, a new episode of SPIN Presents Lipps Service is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
